here's the thing, we started off friends...
it may have been an oversight; there may have been a crisis. but all signs are pointing to neither of those having been the case.
this was not a typical everyday hanging-out; it was DIFFERENT. a SPECIAL OCCASION. a BIRTHDAY. and your absence did not go unnoticed. it got to the point of me being WORRIED about you and stressed out over things i should not have been stressed out about on a day like yesterday. i was responsible to make sure that all went well and smoothly, and that happiness was abundant. but then this stress was added on top of it. even the birthday boy could let it go. i couldn't. because i felt slighted. i think it was on purpose. i am hurt and i am pissed.
i called you at work, i emailed you more than once. you called and said you were going to meet us at dinner and you'd already said you'd come to the movies. we bought tickets earlier in the afternoon and had one waiting for you. you didn't show to EITHER. then i stopped by before we went to the bar to pick you up and take you with us. you weren't home.
i don't know what else to do.
i'm done.
