i just need some time, some time to get away

still dealing with the plague. i really hope it ends before the weekend, because i'm supposed to head up to the old college stomping grounds for the scranton st. patrick's parade (see also: much drunken frivolity), and i think it would be a fun way to say adios to the east coast.

i'd write a bit more, but honestly, i was up most of the night, continually hacking up a lung, so i'm exhausted. i've taken several medications to try and drug myself to sleep, and it's starting to kick in. my eyes keep crossing and losing focus. so i think bedtime is soon.

2 days of "hell week" down, 3 to go.
