i'm here! i'm safe! i'm EXHAUSTED!
my rental car is a ford escape, which they upgraded me from whatever dodge neon-esque economy car they were going to give me. it's so rad. that's what you get for arriving at 1am, folks. which of course, to me, was 4am.
saw "elizabethtown" on the first flight. TOO CUTE! chick flick, totally. even though i'm not totally ga-ga over orly bloom like some folks, he is quite a charming character in this flick. kirsten, well, i can do without her. of course, the SECOND flight was showing "walk the line" -- and i was hella pissed, because i was just WAY too tired to stay up and watch. i had the whole row to myself on the second flight, so i laid down, curled up and slept.
today was a wasted day, in that...no interviews. sleep. lots of sleep. a walk to whole foods to pick up some snacks, and i just applied to some jobs online here in the lobby of Studio 54 (aka the residential hotel which is soon to be my new home!).
i'm just waiting for eric and his roommate to get home from work so we can go out for margaritas and burritos. ohhhh yes.
btw, i must mention how ECSTATICALLY bouncing off the walls happy i am to see eric. lyke whoa, or something. it's a very comforting feeling. did you ever feel all giddy-excited-nervous-EEP! but yet comfortable and calm and peaceful around someone all at the same time? well, that's eric.
oh, and by the way, mark my words: kelleh is going to save the world.
oy vey. i need food. must go snack now.
i got beeped at by a truck passing by.
people are friendly in san diego.
