it turns out, that the road the loan office is on, is the same as the MALL.
you'd think i'd know the name of the road the mall is on. i've only been living here 10 months. of course, i've only been to the mall MAYBE 4 times, since i'm poor and can't afford to go shopping. hence where the loan comes into play. your favorite meredithelaine has used her credit card WAY TOO FUCKING MUCH a little more than she should have.
so, it looks like the big payoff will be postponed a week.
damn.
i'm going to be visiting my parents this weekend. check up on mom and maybe do some nice stuff for her. maybe clean the house a little, do some laundry for her. and i'll probably have to hit her up for some kizza$h.
i think it's finally hitting me that i have SEVENTY DOLLARS to my name. if a meredithelaine-style crisis occurs, i'm screwed.
i have even resorted to actual *gasp* cooking. i'm making pasta tonight. it's one of my only options, considering i have expired milk, expired leftover chinese take-out, 2 half-empty bottles of flat diet pepsi, and some random condiments in my fridge.
however, all is not lost. i came home to a package in front of my door. i got some more VALENTINE'S DAY LOVE!!! josh sent me a copy of the mix that he posted on his diary recently. AND a card! (insert collective "awww!" from the peanut gallery here) you rule muchly. thank you!!!
i'm now going to download a copy of howie day's performance on letterman from last night. it was aural ecstacy. "collide"...with a string section!
so i suppose today didn't end so badly after all.
oops. i must tend to my pasta now...
