1. clear plastic boxes in fun colors - they were the shit when i was a kid. i don't really know why, but they were. ooh, and satin things. pillows, etc. satin was also big in 82-84. and scented erasers. ooooh.
2. @d@m k@pl@n, @ndy f3inb3rg and mich@3l b@umkirchn3r. the triumverate of boys that i loved in 2nd-6th grade.
3. bringing my boombox to school to listen to in the lunchroom. you were always pretty cool on the days you did that. and i'd just walk around carrying it at recess, listening to duran duran.
4. real video games. none of this x-playstation-box crap. give me back my atari 2600 (hello - pitfall and frogger), colecovision, and pong. yes, i'm old enough to remember PONG.
5. when mtv played videos. i came across mtv when i was 5. we had cable, and i, of course, used to watch nickelodeon. well one day, they changed the channel line-up and nickelodeon became mtv. the rest is history, folks. i'm music and pop-culture obsessed, and have an attention span of about 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
