please let my mom be okay
my mom went to the hospital 2 nights ago. she had these weird pains in her chest. she told me it was: "heat and tightness of my neck and throat, heat across my chest and upper left arm". she stayed overnight at the hospital. in the morning they had her do a stress test on a treadmill. when her heartrate was up, she was fine. but when it slowed down, she got the pains and they noticed a "blip" or something on the screen they were monitoring her on.
they gave her some nitroglycerine and aspirin, and sent her home with an appointment in 4 weeks with a cardiologist.
well, last night she got the pains again. now she is seeing the cardiologist at 4pm today.
she gets panic attacks, too. that isn't helping the situation. she's so scared. i don't blame her. there is a history of heart disease in the family.
please let her be okay.
