realization
2004-08-23 
the realization that you could have lost someone is a scary one.you can almost deal with losing someone if you fucked up royally. you can understand that.
but when it hits you that you could have just LOST someone - forever - because of a horrible freak-occurence at the hands of some sub-human asshole...
...that's fucking terrifying.
i've been dealing with that realization since saturday.
