the sun is shining once again over new jersey. we didn't think it would happen ever again. so i drove around and saw 2 rainbows. pretty, yet they meant nothing to me. the first beautiful day of autumn, and i'm jaded. the colors are rich, but i'm not moved at all.

fall days like this used to hold some sort of promise - but not anymore.
