vehicular strife!
translation: i got into an accident this morning.
the asshole in the cadillac backed into the rear door of the Tucson. his car...ok, not HIS car, but "the company car" had barely a scratch. i have a crunch and some scratches. but barely noticeable.
we didn't exchange info. once he started talking about his company, blah blah...i got intimidated, of course. i'm hoping that somewhere in the 4000 warranties i have on my car, this will be covered. but even if not, eh, i'm not going to stress about it.
but i SURE AS HELL am not telling my father about this. because lord knows i don't need him to tell me how stupid i am. and we all know that's EXACTLY what would happen.
no matter what situation i'm presented with, i can pretty much bank on the fact that, in my father's eyes, i'll make the wrong decision.
meanwhile, i worked ANOTHER 45 minutes extra today. at the rate i'm going, i'll be leaving work at noon on friday! HA! nah, i'll probably just take some lunches, since i don't normally. but i'm definitely leaving a little early on friday, since my regular office is having a happy hour event. it's one of my coworkers' birthday, and 2 of the guys in our office are getting married soon (not to each other!), so of course, we must DRINK!
maybe one of my coworkers will hit on me. wouldn't be the first time...heh. hell, i almost MARRIED a coworker back in the day *shudder*
after all the extra work i've been doing, AND a vehicular mishap...i'm gonna NEED a drink. or 12.
but i'm going to be good. there will be NO PUKING IN FRONT OF THE COWORKERS THIS TIME!
so yeah, my day sucked. how was yours?
