you offer a la carte
mother nature is being a bitch, isn't she?
i got drenched on the way home from work. just the walk from the train to the car. a boulder hit our train on the way home. luckily not on a window.
damn this poor drainage area i live in. the golf course down the street is a lake now. my parking lot is full of glistening patterns of rivers.
rainy nights like this are lovely, IF you're not alone. right now, i'm in PJs and a giant hoodie, drinking tea and indulging in some ultra-lights.
and i'm so alone.
tonight would be lovely for grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. or ordering in pizza. snuggling up and "watching a movie". talking about life and how much it's raining. being lazy and drifting off to sleep, accompanied by the drone of a quiet mix cd.
but only if you're not alone.
drenched in rain, drenched in weak poetry. as if my inspiration has been washed away.
i want the autumnal sun. i want changing leaves and apple cider sunsets. cinnamon donuts and a chilly breeze. turtleneck sweaters and ugg boots.
why am i being denied?
