for all the times that i fall, i manage to pick myself back up. talk
about resilient!
not to say that yesterday was the best of days. it wasn't. i'm not terribly thrilled that K and G are all cozy with J, when J is leaving in a week. although, she IS training them, and SHE'LL be back in may, where as i'll be gone in mid-march. so i guess there's more stake in her than me.
and the sad part is, that at the end of next week, K and G will know more than i do about this company and this business.
i'm now working in the house of the pretty people. J, even at 9 months
pregnant, is so pretty. apparently she gained about 40 lbs. not that you can tell. of course, you can tell she's pregnant, obviously, but she did not gain an ounce anywhere other than her belly.
and G is just GORGEOUS. tall, thin, long brown hair...she's one of
those girls that you WANT to hate so badly, because they are
just THAT beautiful. but you can't, because she's so NICE. so there's
no hatin' on her. still, you wouldn't want to let her within 5 miles of your boyfriend.
and K, well, he's a good looking guy. no denying that. and a riot. funny funny kid, with a lot of scandalous stories. (just like me!) if any of his stories are true, then he's certainly not lacking in cheesebitch hoes female admirers. i think he's got a crush on G, quite honestly. they'd make a cute couple, if G didn't have a boyfriend.
so basically, i'm working on the set of The O.C., it seems. the beautiful people all around me. i feel like a damn puffalump around them. i'm still the geekgirl staring at the popular people, praying that someday i'll be invited to sit at the cool table during lunch.
(only 2 months left, i can do this)
it's already been determined that there WILL be a party in my honor when i leave. basically we're going to go out and get fucked up, philly-style. could get ugly, in a good way. actually, it BETTER get ugly. i deserve at least that much
on that note, i am, of course, heading to the land of the buckeyes this weekend. which means, no updates until monday or tuesday. i KNOW! you're weeping. openly, even. there, there, beautiful readers. you may not be able to have some new meredithelaine goodness for a few days, but you can relive the magic...
