but right now, i need some prayers, and quick.
it turns out my father has a "critical aneurysm" in his aorta. apparently 5.0 cm is considered bad - my dad's is 5.6 cm.
so basically, if this thing bursts, he could die.
he has to get an appointment with his doctor ASAP, and may have to have surgery.
as much as i bitch about him...i don't want anything to happen to him.
i'm really scared.
he had a heart attack back in 1994, which was bad enough. i spent the summer after my freshman year of college carting my mom back and forth to the hospital to see him. i didn't work that summer, just looked after mom, and then dad, of course, when he came home.
considering that he weighs more now than he did when he had the heart attack, and still drinks like a fish...it's not like he's in supreme health.
so yeah.
prayers, happy thoughts, magic spells...anything.
