for the first time, i can hear my heart sing

my cousin is engaged. she's 35 and a single mom and has had a rough go of it. suffers from panic attacks and whatnot. she's a good person and deserves to be happy, that's for sure.
as of the end of this summer, she wasn't dating anyone. so this came on FAST. but hell, as i mentioned in my previous entry, i'm not one to begrudge anyone their love.
of course, you know that if something like that was to happen to ME, or something equally as "out of the blue" (say, like, i don't know, moving to san diego), the reaction would not be quite as favorable.
oh, and apparrently my cousin met her fiance on eharmony.com; mom said, "you know, maybe you should give that a shot."
she made it a point to mention that. more than once.
